Well, it’s the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 season going on worldwide which began with 20 teams playing and as time has passed by we are consequently paving towards the climax of the World Cup season now with only eight teams. Now, all the important phases of the World Cup tournament will mark its beginning on Wednesday when South Africa and the USA will have a face-off with each other as Match 1 of the Super 8 phase.
The Super 8 session of matches will consist of the top eight teams and each team will play three matches with the top two from each of the two decided groups leading to the qualifying for the semi-finals which is scheduled to begin on Thursday, June 27.
The Top 8: Super 8 In T20 World Cup 2024
Before we proceed with any more details, it is important to take note of the teams who have booked their seats in the Super 8 in the T20 World Cup 2024 tournament. These include India, USA, Australia, England, South Africa, West Indies, Afghanistan and Bangladesh respectively.
It is to be noted that it was South Africa and Bangladesh who won their tickets to Super 8 in the first row, however, India made it happen after their win against the USA on Jun 12.
